Charlie was the last one up.
After the big kids leave the boys play dogs, a frequent game...
... and the three of them took a few minutes to make a fort with the couch cushions.
Then...
Gracie gets ready for the trip to drop Nana at the airport.
And Dad entertains the kids for a few minutes while Mom gets ready herself.
So I kiss them all goodby. I hope it is not long before I see them again and this time have a longer visit. A taste just makes me want to be with all of them longer.
However, when I arrived home, Alan had a birthday surprise planned. He had a nice gift for me--a cute outfit perfect for our upcoming trip to Central America. Then he took me to Morton's Steak House for a delicious and excellent lunch complete with a personalized birthday menu and Chocolate Lava birthday cake. Thanks, Alan. You really made me feel so loved.
After a couple of necessary hours at work we arrived home where I went straight to bed for a nap to catch up. Here I am again blogging late into the night. Only one day more of this commitment which has been depriving me of sleep.
