ONE MORE CELEBRATION / ONE MORE BLOG

I am so lucky this year again.  I have had so many celebrations of my birthday.  It is so fun.  Adam, Jennifer, and Bailey took us out to dinner for some delicious Italian food at Fratellos (formerly Peppinos).  It was excellent food and such a nice evening.

One thing about doing a blog every day, I always have my camera with me.  Who knows when a blogable event will happen?

We should have taken this when all the yummy food had just been served instead of just been devoured!

Arriving home they had a sinful chocolate birthday cake for me.  I guess there is no hope for dieting this week.

You'd think I was about to blow out 60 candles instead of 5!

And look what arrived that Alan got me for my birthday!  I have wanted a Bosch for at least 20 years.  I bet it will get great use at our house--maybe even tonight. I can't wait.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED FROM BLOGGING EVERYDAY FOR A MONTH:

1.  I hate having to do one every day.
2.  It is better to do it early in the day than at midnight.
3.  I am not as insightful as Lindsay.
4.  Children are the best subjects for a blog.
5.  I like having a journal.  As my memory gets worse, it is nice to have things written down and photographed besides.
6.  I can find the time to blog.
7.  I need to put more substance in my blogs and less just captioned pictures.
8.  Sometimes my computer is deathly slow.
9.  It is sometimes interesting to just tell about ordinary, real life things.
10.  I will do a blog for each of my family on their birthday, even if it kills me.
11. As in most things, I can't do a short little blog.  I do them too long and too wordy.
12.  I cannot do humor.  Where did Ashley come from?  Is she my real daughter?
13.  I don't think anyone reads my blog but Alan and me, but that is good enough.
14.  I did it!  I did it!  I did it!  I did one blog a day for a whole month!
15.  Thanks, Sam, for the challenge. Don't look for a blog tomorrow, though.
