FOR YOU PAPA

I am in Utah today to attend my Aunt Sharee Paulson's funeral. I know Alan really wishes he were here to see his grandchildren he misses so much. Here are a few picture of the Toblers I took so he could see them, too. (I wish I had the knack for photography Lindsay has acquired.)

After Lindsey picked me up from the airport, we made numerous stops along the way to prepare her to go to Women's Conference and still handle many commitments. After the while the kids said,"We don't want to go in to any more stores!" So I would sit in the car with them while Lindsey ran into the store. Before long the songs, food and games also got boring. They wanted out of the seats.

Here Kate had not yet gotten her way.

At least she is out of the seat.

Two crazy kids!

Lindsey took Lacey for her first experience in the temple doing baptisms for the dead. At home we played house, babies, going to the doctor (Jack had four vaccination shots that morning in his legs in preparation for starting kindergarten this fall) and...

...played a little Super Mario Brothers for Wii.

About that time Halle arrived home from school.

Then Lindsey and Lacey came back from the temple on a high. Lacey had a very special experience the temple. Besides the normal a sister had asked her to be proxy for her two ancestors so she could take them and do the other work. She even got to do the font side confirmations, which is a rare privilege.

Halle gave me a preview of the pieces she is playing for her upcoming recital. I was amazed at how good she had gotten in such a short time taking lessons!

Lacey also played me her recital pieces. She has been taking lessons much longer and her renditions were very beautiful and more complicated than I had heard her do before. I was so proud of her.

Then I gave Lacey her birthday presents. Of course, someone else got to do the unwrapping.

Lacey just cared that they were open and is such a loving big sister.

A quick modeling of the new clothes. I think she liked them.
